Buicknutty
I am trying determine for sure, if the door on a 1968 Wildcat convert, is the same as on a 2 door Electra hardtop or convert. as we need at least the a right side door. I believe that they are the same, though I lack the experience (or an interchange manual) to say for sure. So who out there has the experience to say for sure if the doors will fit on either model? Thanks! Keith
Fr. Buick
My suspicion would be NO. A swap could be made, I think between Wildcat and LeSabre, but not up to the big cars.
wildcatsrule
Just looked it up in the 1968 chassis and body parts book. The doors are the same. Under body sheet metal Le Sabre Wildcat Electra 225 2 door hardtops it lists door assembly as part #10351(that is the inner door) and panel assembly outer door as part #12895. Under body sheet metal Le Sabre Wildcat Electra 225 convertibles it lists the identical part numbers for both inner and outer door assemblies.
