Guest treewizard1
It appears to be a Chevrolet...it seems so sad sitting back there in the weeds. If anyone has any info on year and model and if it might be worth dragging out of there, I would be most grateful. Thanks!

61polara
From what we can see, it could be a '41-48 Chevrolet.

Here is the four door version....this one has the optional rear windshield wiper.... DLynskey
The second part of the question is if it's worth dragging out of there. It's not rare nor valuable, but any auto is worth a few hundred as scrap. Probably not much more than that.Don
keiser31
It's only worth it if the owner sells it to you for a reasonable price (reasonable to you) and you are inspired to restore it.
Dave Henderson
Some '48 Chevys also had the trim going around the rear and no belt line trim. The rear wiper may have been a '48 option, at least the only Chevy of the era I ever saw one with was a '48. After re hashing the '41 body year after year, it perhaps got difficult for GM to dream up something else to change or add at little cost. Center grille vertical bar on the '48 was a noticeable difference from the '47, but a minor addition. Anything would sell, buyers were still car starved after WWII. Even with it's stale styling there were 80,000 more '48's produced than the '47's.
