Another '57 Roadmaster....

This nice old survivor just showed up today at a local paint & hot rod shop. Notice the headlight bezels, which are painted, except for a thin chrome ring at the very front, like the 1956 Roadmasters. This question about the headlight rims came up recently on another post, and this is the second '57 Roadmaster like this, so it confirms the Roadmaster-only headlight rims for 1957.

This particular car looks like it was bought new in Tyler, Texas; has its original paint; was originally a factory A/C car (I opened the hood and the compressor is missing); and has Mexican-style diamond vinyl seat upholstery and interior door panels in white. I was told that the owner wants $18,000 for it, which seems to me to be about $10,000 too much, but it's a nice, rust-free, survivor that you don't see every day.
