JayG
I'm going to order new wiring for my 25 Roadster from Myers. I'm trying to figure out how to remove the bakelite connectors from the old wiring to install on the new. It looks like I may have to punch the brass contact out from the bottom. That's the only way I see to remove it but before I destroy anything I thought I'd ask. Thanks Jay
Ron Lawson
On the end that the wire goes into the connector should unscrew from the connector body leaving a small screw to undo to free the wire If you post a picture of the particular type of connector you have it will make it easier to help you Ron
JayG
They look like these. So the large knurled part unscrews from the center part? I took this image off of ebay as I'm at work and can't get a pic of mine.
cahartley
I trust it's this type of connectorThe knurled part unscrews from the base when you can see the screw referred to above.
JayG
That's the one. It should have been obvious but I was thinking that the bulb part was split in half and would unscrew. Sometimes the obvious is hard to see. Thanks to both of you for the help. Jay

JayG
I didn't realize that these were available until I saw the post of the Lang's ad. I see them on Myers site and will probably replace mine. Thanks Ray.
