I had to miss the vintage races at Indy this year due to family commitments. Looks like I missed something pretty special.

I've stood and gawked at that $1 million car for hours in the Indy Museum. Missing the chance to see it run really hurts.:(

What beautiful 57 Corvette! I like it better than the one I had. Dreams are cheap, but even if it is custom, I like it.

Read the article. That's not a mere custom '57 Corvette, it's the Corvette SS built by Zora Arkus-Duntov. Body is made of magnesium and it set a lap record at Sebring the first time out. It's probably the car that saved the Corvette and created the foundation of racing Corvettes that would follow, even today. Love Corvettes or hate 'em, that's one of the most important GM cars ever built.
