95Cardinal Posted February 16, 2014 Share Posted February 16, 2014 You might have seen several threads recently regarding the 2014 EyesOn Design show.As part of the Vehicle Selection Committee, I am responsible for populating our "Pure Michigan" category.This year, the "Pure Michigan" category will showcase vehicles manufactured in Flint, Michigan.I am looking for 10 to 15 vehicles to showcase the breadth of Flint's automotive assembly history.In particular, we would like to feature your vehicle if it meets these requirements:1. Original (or restored to original) appearance. Exhibited vehicles must have OEM style wheels, tires and interiors.2. Vehicle manufactured/assembled in Flint, MichiganSpecifically, we would like to feature representative vehicles for the following marques/years:- Any 1901-1903 product of the Flint Automobile Co., A.B.C. Hardy or Flint Roadster- Any pre-WWI Buick (1 or 2 vehicles)- Any pre-WWI Chevrolet (1 or 2 vehicles)- Any Monroe vehicle- 1932-41 Buick (any body style or year - up to 3 vehicles required)- 1953 or 54 Buick Skylark- 1957 or 58 Buick Caballero hardtop wagon- 1959-64 Chevrolet Impala or Bel Air- 1966-71 Buick Electra, Riviera or Centurion (2 vehicles)- Any Samson truck- Any "Flint" or "Best" truck (Durant-Dort Carriage Works)- Any "Dort" truck- Any pre-WWII GMC truck- 1946-53 GMC panel truck or Chevrolet Suburban- 1957 Chevrolet Cameo- 1964-65 Corvair Loadside, Rampside or GreenbrierIf you have a vehicle that fits these guidelines and would like to have it considered for inclusion, please send me a message including two photos of the vehicle and your contact information as soon as possible.
