rogerpete
I want to put the black back on the inside glass lense of my STOP tail light. What paint/coating do I use? In the photo, there is a black line on the glass, that is residue from a piece of vinyl tape...Thanks
JACK M
How about some nail polish? It even comes with the brush.
rogerpete
Hi JackI thought about using an enamel or a black roof paint. It has to be light blocking & heat resistant...
Larry Schramm
Try getting some black out paint for neon light tubes.
JFranklin
Any paint you use will stand up to the heat generated by a stoplight bulb unless the bulb touches. I have a similar lense and it was never painted and the word stop still shows when lit. Are you sure yours was painted?
Brass is Best
Black Enamel will do the trick, may take two coats.
