CheezeMan
Looks a lot closer to production than the previous concept...maybe we'll see a version of this produced.

sosuzguy
Shanghai 2013: New Buick Riviera Concept Revealed - Rumor Central"We’ve heard some scuttlebutt that the Riviera concept could give way to a rear-drive, four-door coupe wearing the Riviera nameplate. They just won't get off of that 4 door thing!!
RivNut
Hey! Didn't GM do a four-door Riviera in '95 when the last generation Riviera came out? Sure they did, they just called in the Oldsmobile Aurora and put the Cadillac Northstar system in it to boot. Ed
mp65riv
Yes they did...also keep in mind that Buick used the Riviera name for its 4 door 6 window Roadmaster sedan in the early 50s and for the 4 door 6 window Electra 225 hardtop from 59 through 62. windmillnut
It looks nice, but it leaves me cold. It looks too much like everything else that is produced today. After 14 years of nothing I would have hoped they would have come up with something a little more radical for the times like the 71' Riviera was. sosuzguy
I agree with windmill and these other 4 door cars aren't comparable with the 63-99 2 door actual Rivieras
60FlatTop
I hadn't seen that second link. A four door Riviera as a series? A sub-series, maybe. Portholes on a Riviera series? Again, maybe a sub-series, and then only three? Who the hell is running that company?I saw they just put in a purchase offer on that old Flint building. Are you sure they aren't making it a Starbucks?I'm seriously looking at Packard, Nash, and Hudson. American cars the government let fail on their own. Even one the Romney family helped extinguish. Maybe my next post will be in "Buicks For Sale".Bernie
