1955 paint color code

I've tried to find this and I've had no luck. The paint code is BPP-1.. I can find that B is Dover white. But what is P and the dash 1? many thanks, B

Sitting beside my car in the show field at CMS last Saturday, this guy ('B') walks up

and said his name was Earl but not

MrEarl but would like to meet MrEarl. It wasn`t long, Lamar showed up.

My post above has no value as a lot of others I read.

BTW, P is Cadet blue.-"1" - don`t know.

I always thought PP was yellow..... you may want to have yours checked Bob, sounds like too many steroids maybe.....

The -1 = Optional red wheels

It definitely has value...it imparts knowledge to someone (me) and others who don't know... It's blue color for sure, I just didn't know what shade of blue. I could see the blue under the current green paint.

Mr. Earl, in the rest of the world, pp may be yellow... but in the Buick world, it's definitely blue!!!

Well actually if you mix too much alcohol in it, it becomes clear coat. Like Willie, sometimes I'm just here to aggravate.
