Old26Buick
I'm replacing the mouldings on the runningboards on my 26 and 27 Buicks. Where do the nails go, on top or sides?? Thanks for any help
Mark Shaw
The moulding on my cars is angle moulding that has pre-drilled holes on the sides (vertical part). It is important to use nails or brads that have a ringed or twisted shanks to keep them from working out over time... Fred Rawling
I have only seen them attached with screws in the sides of the moulding
Bob Atkinson
I redid the original running boards on my 1926 26-47 a couple of years ago. They were originally held on with screws.
