Guest john69
Starboard is definitly Right; one can remember that Pott and Left have the same number of characters, and Starboard has more, like Right, 'tho not the same number. One of my friends built a 490 Chev speedster in high school back in the early 60s; he used the butchered front seat of a Dodge Bros. touring car for the bucket seat, and the front end was completely open with just toe boards and a floor from there to the seat; it would really scoot, and is still around the area after all these years. hddennis
While we are talking Maxwell here's two pictures taken in 1918 of a 1915 Maxwell speedster at work in California. Edited June 15, 2012 by hddennis (see edit history)
smithbrother
Rochester drove a Maxwell, I recall Jack Benny talking about it often. I recall one time Jack said to Rochester, " I DIDN'T HEAR YOU DRIVE THE MAXWELL INTO THE GARAGE?", Rochester said, "NO, I TURNED THE CORNER AND CAME FACE TO FACE WITH A STEAM ROLLER, SO I JUST SLID THE MAXWELL UNDER THE DOOR, IF I HAD A POSTAGE STAMP I WOULD HAVE MAILED IT TO YOU" Dale in Indy
30DodgePanel
Man the old photography that captured these time pieces was almost as good as the vehicles themselves..., well, almost Beautiful
