wildcat70
I recently purchased a remanufacturered clock from Ebay. When I got it out of the box, i noticed it is different from the one in the car. The faces are identical as are the wires and connections. The difference is that the one in the car is not as big as far as the components behind the clock, and it has a cover protecting the wires and adjustments. Which one is correct for a 1941 Limited Limo?

wildcat70
Here are the pics. Version 2 is the clock that is in the car and version one is the clock I bought that is supposed to be correct. The back of version 2 is a bit dark, but you can see it has a cover on the back. Grandpa
Marty,The attached pictures are of the Borg clock in my 1941 Buick, which match your recent purchase. The installed clock in your car could be from a different supply, such as Jaeger.Grandpa
Matt Harwood
I believe Grandpa is correct, there were two different clock suppliers, so either would be correct. Pick the one with the better face and go with it and you won't be docked points.
wildcat70
Both faces look good to me, so the one that works will be the one I will use !!!! Thanks all !!!
roadfossil
I have a clock business. Most car manufacturers used clocks made by more than one manufacturer for any given year, so either clock is correct for your car.
