Mudbone Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 I have been cleaning up parts today. The front crank pulley has a rubber ring inside it. I would think this is not for balancing as the harmonic balancer is bonded in rubber. Is this to reduce any possible noise from the pulley? What is the best way to repair it?
