Guest my3buicks
Does anyone that has seen the movie Warehorse know what make the car that the landlord owned was?
Lozierman
I saw the movie yesterday with my wife. I also wondered what that landlord's car was and,f or some reason I suspected it was a Vauxhall, and said so to my wife during the film. After noticing your post I did a Google search and think it is a 1913-15 model.
Guest my3buicks
Thanks Michael - i am usually pretty good at at least getting the make and close to the year right, but I was stumped on that one.It appears to be a Prince Henry model.
DLynskey
I didn't know what that one was, but early in the movie there was a Model T Ford truck which I thought was out of place on a British farm.Don
Larry Schramm
The first Model T vehicles were being assembled in Great Britian starting in October 1911 at the Trafford Park Factory near Manchester.
dibarlaw
My wife and I saw the War Horse yesterday also. Wonderful film!!! Thanks for the ID on the Vauxhaul. The model T truck did bother me just because it was much newer than the time period. The wars beginning--- 1914 the T truck 1920s. The curse of loving old cars and movies. I know my wife hates my commenting. Also when the scene is to be the 1929 stock market crash and they show a 1938 Zenith console radio for a news broadcast. The Jonny Depp "Dillinger" most cars newer than time period. Larry
JohnBoyle
I guessed correctly...my time reading UK old car magazines paid off. BTW: in one scene you can see a "V" embroidered into the back seat door panel.
