TG57Roadmaster
These pics show the '55 Body Drop at the Linden, NJ, BOP Plant. I can't get the Build Sheet to scan any better, but there's another, smaller paper affixed to the driver's door vent window. LargerGiven the heady pace of 1955 production, the Wilmington Plant mayhave run out of the form sheets the day your car was assembled(?).TG
packick
In addition to the build sheet, this picture shows some scribbling on the firewall I discovered after removing the engine. In blue is written "BSS" which is my paint code, and below it is "46" which may be the body type (even though my car is a 66R). Written in white is "85" which I have no idea what it means. Any thoughts?

Guest Rob McDonald
TOM, that is so cool that you could enlarge that image of the build sheet to be almost readable! Was that a download or do you have an original photo print?

Budd
On my 1956 -- the crayon markings on the firewall indicated my paint code (CFF) and the interior trim number (523).
