keiser31
Looks like a "WHITE" to me.....sorry....couldn't resist. If your photo will not load, be sure that it is 2000 or less pixels in both directions and it should load.

keiser31
Has that 1910 or so Buick look with some accessory flared front fenders, to me. Edited August 4, 2011 by keiser31 (see edit history)
nzcarnerd
I haven't worked out the make yet but it would date from the period 1911 to 1913. It has detachable rims and front doors which most cars did not have before about 1910 and it has gas lights (most cars went to electrics by 1914). It might actually be 1912 because it still has a flat dash and no cowl. Note it has the distinctive forward extensions of the front fenders which a few cars used in that 1912-14 period. nzcarnerd
I don't think it is a Buick. Those lines across the radiator are distinctive. One make that had them was Speedwell but this is not one.
Guest fargo
thanks for the quick leads. It appears to be a 1912 Buick.
nzcarnerd
Although I think that 1912 is possibly the right date, it is not a Buick. There were three different models of Buick touring in 1912; the Model 35 - 165 cid and 107"wb - http://www.barthworks.com/cars/forneycars/photos/1912buickc.jpg, the Model 29 - 201 cid and 108"wb - http://multimedia.detnews.com/pix/autos/2008/brassies08/12buick.jpg and the bigger Model 43 - 318 cid and 116"wb - http://files.conceptcarz.com/img/Buick/12-Buick_Model_43_DV-08_MB_01.jpg . The Model 43 has different shape rear fenders. Note that the wheel hubs on all of the Buicks - and the one in your link - are different to those on the car here. This car is something bigger and heavier than a Buick. Edited August 5, 2011 by nzcarnerd (see edit history)
Guest northpacific
That's a 1911 Cadillac model 30; the 1912's had a "self starter" so lost the crank handle, the 09's + '10's are similar but don't have the headlight crossbarThe 1912's retained the headlight crossbar but had electric headlights, whereas in your photo these are clearly acetyleneNP Edited August 5, 2011 by northpacific (see edit history)
