Roger Frazee
Whenever the driver's side dooor lock is pressed down, it takes an act of Congress to get the door unlocked. The button will not pull up far enough to unlock the door. I have to work with the key and the button at the same time, forever, to get the door unlocked. This may be related: The inside door handle does not engage until it is nearly at the end of its travel.Any and all help is appreciated. Rusty_OToole
Could also be something loose or out of adjustment inside the door. Suggest you take off the door panel and fix it while you can. If the door refuses to open you can't get at it to fix.Do not lube a door lock. The only thing you should use in a door lock is graphite. Anything else will gum it up. Chances are the only thing wrong is a bent rod from the key latch to the door striker.
