Juha Paavo Kaita
Hi!Got some negatives from my friend. Scanned them and among other things found this. First I thought the car could be Buick but then I noticed the front bumber. The car seems to be quite new - not a spare tire on the rear just rim.Juha KaitanenTurku
keiser31
Looks like about a 1927 Buick with accessory bumper. Edited November 6, 2010 by keiser31 (see edit history)
pepcak
Hi, definitely 1927 Buick with goddess rad cap and Buick hubcaps. Bumper is aftermarket, sure. The roof has been modified (seems to be quite thick) and the third window seems to be changed too.
Leif Holmberg
From the beginning this was a touring(open Buick probebly a 1927 becuse of the radiator cap) car,and someone has made it to a closed car.Take a look at the cowl and you will see the differans between the first and second photos Leif in Sweden. Dave Mellor NJ
I have a set of headlights on a bar which I've been trying to identify. They have a nickle rim on the back as well as the front like those in these pictures. Can anybody say what years use these lights?
Leif Holmberg
They are 1924 to 1927.The differns on the head lights are that 1924-1925 has the licens bracket in the middle of head lights and 1926-1927 has the licens bracket as in the second photo, below the head lights. In this same yard there use to be company that manufactured bodies to Reo trucks and buses. So they may well rebody this open Buick, too. Enclosed is a photo of a drawing showing which kind of bodies they used to make for Reo bus chassis.JuhaTurku

Juha Paavo Kaita
Hi!A friend of mine runs a old stuff store. He found a box of old negatives from a home of one farmer close to Turku. In the box there was few interesting negatives about local Reo history. I do not what links the man with the company which used to import Reo to Finland in mid 1920´s and the company which made bodies. Usually you become interested in these things too late - the person who could tell is not here any more.JuhaTurku
