Oldtech
This is sort-of a Buick question. I need a Clutch Release bearing for a 1927 GMC T40 truck. It has the Master Buick engine but the transmission is different. Anyone know anything about these? are they the same as the car? Anyone know of a bearing supplier that has release bearings by size?. Thanks.
unimogjohn
I would call Ft Wayne Clutch. They are a great source for information also. Antique clutches
1937-44
I would think most bearing supply houses would be able to get you a bearing by size. If not I would suggest Olcar Bearing. George is great to work with, his phone number is: 910-693-3324.
Mark Shaw
It should be the same as a Master Buick. Check to see if the clutch is the same single or multi disc. That should tell the story.
Leif Holmberg
I can`t speak for GMC but my Buick book says 0.799 36138 1924-1925-1926-1927-1928-1929;1930 ser 40-50-60 and 1931-60-80-90.All the same. Leif in Sweden
