Guest REX STALLION
Greetings!, anyone know where I can get the stock exhaust hangers for a `64 Riv?
John
No, but they occasionally show up on ebay, one at a time--not the whole set. I've reused my old ones by replacing the rotted out rubber. Drill out the rivets and bolt on a new piece of rubber. John

Zimm63
I'm looking for hangers too. Does anyone have any used ones? My car doesn't have any of the original hangers, as far as I can tell. From what I understand, there are three sets. Can anyone confirm this, and if they are the same, or different ones were used in each location.ThanksZimm

ThanksZimmNot sure if you are a member of ROA but there are a number of vendors listed in the newsletter that can probably supply used hangers. These of course would need restored due to the rubber strips drying out. On the 66-67s I know all 6 hangers are unique to each location. Try to find hangers from an arid climate car like AZ, TX or CA.
Paul K.
I repaired one of mine the same way as an earlier post suggested. I cut a piece of an old tire to fit and it is still holding fine. That was back in 1981 in my High School Auto Shop class!
Guest Rob J
Anyone know where to find the rubber straps? I can't seem to find a source for the rubber straps.
