Gary_N
I bought a new Master Cylinder from Cars for 'Yoda'. Seems to me this needs to be bench bled. I have seen various how to's on new MC bleeding. I was wondering if any of you have bench bled a late 40's early 50's MC and how you accomplished this. Thanks!Gary
Ben Bruce aka First Born
Gary, I just did it on my 50. Bought a generic bleeding kit at o"Rilleys, placed mc in a vise of sorts. Hooked the bleeder hose to the outlet, filled mc with fluid, stuck the hose in the fill hole and pumped until no air bubbles. Piece of cake. Aaron65
I just used an old piece of steel line hooked up to the port and put one end in the fluid...used a screwdriver to pump the piston until all the air was out...
