  1. Hey!! That's what I have!!! Except mine is a convertible. It is black paint, back top, black leather interior with buckets. My dad bought it new. It also has the numbers matching 425 cid dual quad with the big chrome air cleaner and aluminium valve covers.
  2. I am looking for a centre conmsole for a 1964 Buick Electra. My car has bucket seats and column shift. The console it is supposed to have is the same length as the seats.thanks,cobravii@shaw.ca
  3. AWESOME!!! Thanks guys, that opens up a lot more parts sources!!
  4. I have a 1964 Buick Electra convertible I am restoring. It came factory with bucket seats. My question is: What other models will the seat frames fit from? Is a '64 Impala SS seat frame the same?
  5. I am looking for a set of bucket seats to fit a 1964 Buick Electra convertible. Condition of the fabric/leather doesn't matter as I will be recovering them. It is my understanding that they will fit from a 63-64 Electra or Wildcat. PM me on this forum, call or e-mail: cobravii@shaw.ca (780)838-2308 Thanks all!
  6. I'd love one exactly like that except in and Electra :-)
  7. That looks like it could easily be pounded out. The metal is thick and a talented body man could make that look brand new.
  8. LOL.... You are funny. If I do decide to sell, it does have the original carbs with the right numbers and they have been completely rebuilt about a week ago. I also have the aircleaner and the only thing wrong with it is the sticker is missing. I also have the finned valve covers. This is my spare set. So now I have to decide if I want to part with them or not.
  9. If I were to sell this set up, what would it be worth?

  12. My dad had a Black on Black 1964 Buick Electra convertible which he has handed down to me. This song could not be more fitting!! I have already sent it to my mom and dad via facebook. Thank you.
  13. I spotted this on e-bay and it might be worth it just for the carbs. This is not my ad. 57 58 BUICK NAILHEAD 364 OFFY OFFENHAUSER DUAL QUAD 2X4 on eBay.ca (item 320521248707 end time 21-May-10 19:58:05 EDT)

  16. LOL.... toooo funny! The tank hold 100 lbs of Sodium Bicarbonate and it is sold in 50 LB bags. I paid $35 a bag. At that price it is getting washed away! BTW, Sodium doesn't remove rust real well at all. It does work really well at removing paint. It will not hurt rubber, chrome or glass. The set up I got converts to a sand blaster in minutes........ THAT takes the rust off!!
  17. I really liked how the blaster worked. It took under 3 minutes to clean the intake with very little powder laying around. It is non toxic so it washes away anyways. here is the one I bought but I would probably go with the dual tank If I knew what I kow now. Soda Blasting Equipment - Eastwood Soda Blaster
  18. I am looking for black leather seat covers for my '64 Electra convertible (or seats in good shape). It has buckets up front.
  19. Now tht I think about it...... they built the Pontiac trucks in my home town..... Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and the main building is still there!!!
  20. Guys, It has come to light that I know this car and I have always wondered why no one has ever done something with it. It ran good when it was parked but the transmission is out of it. It does have rust in the bottom of the doors but the rest is definately worth a second look. I still think it would be a shame to scrap it.
  21. I remember as a kid my uncle had a Pontiac truck. Even back then I knew it was something unique.
