  1. Keith, I have a 1990 Reatta that is black with saddle trim, that I would sell. The car has 26,000 miles on it. I have won several trophies with the car, When I bought the car from a fellow GM rep in 2006 it only needed a few cosmetic and mechanical improvements to make this a show car. I made the changes, I will let the pictures speak for themselves, Frank
  2. Mc Reatta, As far as I know, It is the original window regulator,it has been slow operating since I bought the car in 2006, My friend has done extensive work on car wiring problems and is a master when rebuilding classic marine engines. I printed out a copy from Ronnies site the 14 steps to a regulator replacement if in fact that is the problem. Frank
  3. A friend of mine is going to replace a window regulator for me on my slow operating passengers side window. What would be the approximate labor hours for this job and parts cost? Thanks in advance,Frank
  4. My3buicks, That is my 3 year old granddaughter in the picture, she loves this reatta. Frank
  5. I had the Reatta in our local Brookfield car show on Sunday. My 3 year old loves sitting in this car. There were about 500 cars entered mine was the only Reatta. People seeing the 36,000 dollar window sticker couldn't believe that Buick had that expensive a car back in 1990. Frank
  6. Marc, I don,t drive it everyday,in fact I bought it in June 2006 and I have only put on less than 2000 miles . My everday driver is a 2011 Cadillac SrX
  7. Richard, They look as good today as when I picked them up from the shop. I cleaned them using Zaino fusion polish and then followed up with a couple of coats of Zaino z2 sealant.
  8. Finfan, I had a local polishing and plating shop do my 4 wheels they had some marks on them. It cost me $200 for the 4 wheels and caps. I think they turned out pretty good.
  9. Here is one from last summer with the Buick Lucerne wheels before I switched back to the polished stock wheels in the fall. Frank
  10. My chrome Lucerne wheels are still available. They would look great on someones Reatta rather than all covered up and warm in my basement. Frank 262-860-3622
  11. Fox W , Use SEM color coat flexible coating in the 12oz spray. First wash the moldings with SEM soap to clean the surface next use the SEM waterborne vinyl/plastic prep. most auto-body shop distributors handle the SEM line of products. They are very good quality. Frank
  12. Dave, If your black reatta convertible came from the former Buick dealer in Whitewater,It could have belonged to Chet Zorn who owned Zorn Pontiac Buick Gmc. in Whitewater. He was aBuick dealer for a lot of years. As a factory rep, I remember going to his dealership a couple of times.Chet was a collector of old cars. Frank
  13. Congradulations Dave, From a fellow Wisconsinite with also a Black and saddle convertible. Good luck with your purchase. I like the way a black cloth top looks on a black Reatta convertible. I am thinking of possibly changing mine from vinyl to cloth. Any info on your top that you care to share, thanks,Frank
  14. These wheels would make someone a nice christmas present. Frank
  15. Daniel, the price does not include shipping. They are 7" wide,Frank
  16. I had the tires removed and they are now sold. I have the wheels available. They are in beautiful condition no scratches on the chrome. $600 includes caps, lug nuts and 2 front wheel spacers.
  17. Hi Jon, I do have the wheels available, This week I plan to have the tires taken off the wheels. They would be a nice addition to any one of your three cars. Frank . My phone number is 262-860-3622
  18. Kitskaboodle, you mention in your post that $200 to have all 4 wheels polished is the exception .That was not the case in the Milwaukee area. I took one of my wheels to three different shops and they were within $20 of each other. I saved a few dollars by stripping the clear coat myself and removing the center emblems from the caps.My wheels were in beautiful shape so I saw no point in using a wheel shop to true them and then polish them. The owner of the shops son did my wheels and said he was glad to have fill in job between some of his larger projects. Frank
  19. Ronnie, When I did my stock wheels I used aircraft paint stripper to take off the clear coat and then I had a local plating shop polish the wheels. They charged me $200 for the wheels and center caps. I tried using a clear coat spray but it had a cloudy look so I stripped it off. Like yourself I plan just to polish them as needed. Frank
  20. 68vwdubb, Thanks for your compliments on my Reatta. I had my stock wheels polished to a high lustre finish almost like chrome this past year. I had a chance to make a good deal on a set of tiger paw touring tires,so a couple of weeks ago I had them mounted and road force balanced with the weights placed on the inside.Yes I did use a 1" spacer on the front wheels. The spacers are in good shape I would toss them in on the package. About an hour ago I took a picture of the car in the garage with the polished stock wheels,I will see if I can attach it to this message. Frank
  21. For Sale Buick Lucerne chrome 17" wheels and tires. The wheels do not have any scratches on the chrome. The tires have less than 800 miles on them. I had the wheels and tires road force balanced. At the car shows I have had a lot of positive comments on the way they look. I will sell the wheels separate,as i have a friend wants my tires for his Lucerne. $900 wheels and tires, lug nuts, center caps are included. Frank.
  22. KitskaboodI never use the the lSuper clean full strength I always dilute it even when i clean my epoxy garage floor. I have a gallon of it and by dilluting it, it lasts forever. Frank
  23. I stopped using hoses and water a few years ago. It is too risky with the electronics. When I detail my own or a customers car I use a mixture of Super Clean, a degreaser, and water. I wipe the entire engine compartment. I let it sit for just a few minutes and then using a bucket of clear water and a microfiber cloth wipe the area clean . When it is dry, I use 303 protectorant,it does not leave a greasy look to the hoses or plastics. Frank
  24. I have had good results using Zaino "fusion" cleaner follwed up with Zaino Z2 paint sealant.Frank
  25. Bjm, I had my stock wheels polished last year. I stripped the clear coat off the centers and the wheels and took the emblems off the centers prior to the polishing. I am pleased the way they turned out. I still have my Lucerne wheels on the car , I like the look.
