  1. I'm not sure what size the screws are. However, several years ago I owned a 35 Standard. A friend that ran an Antique Car fastener company told me once never to loose a garnish molding screw. They he had looked for years trying to find this size screw and they were not available. They also had a beveled washer that was no longer available. If you have a parts book that may list the size needed. It would be best to look at a parts book close to the 1935 version. Mine are packed at this time. If you still need help after the weekend, I'll be able to look in my books Monday.
  2. I recently picked up a 1926 Model T 2Dr Sedan. While the engine appears to be free I have an interesting problem with the rear wheels. The rear wheels are turning in different directions. Any ideas of where to start to fix this problem?
  3. I brought home a recent barn find today. I now have a 1926 Model T Ford 2 Dr. This car has not been licensed since 1960. I found out looking thru some papers that came with it that I'm the third owner. The previous owner owned since 1943. Unfortunately or fortunately by the time I got to the car it had been unburied form being used as a shelf. At some time someone removed the roof. No sign of the roof any where. Good news is the engine is not frozen. Interesting problem is the rear wheels are moving in opposite directions. So it made for interesting removal from the garage and loading on a trailer. This will be my first venture in the the "T" world. So I'll learn a lot. I more familiar with the 30's-40's Chevrolets. I'm adding a couple of pics. Hope this works.
  4. You might try the VCCA ( Vintage Chevrolet Club of America ) site for help. There is a lot of activity there from " the boys down under". The 34 Holden chevrolet Phaeton os a very nice looking car. Best of Luck on your search.

  19. I recall a friend having this problem with radio about this age. He eventually found that it was a frequency issue with the electronics and engine of the car. He ended up taking it to a dealership to have the radio changed out. It was under warranty. That solved the problem.
  20. 31 Chevrolet Roadster with a 32 Chevy horn.
  21. I recently found a complete kit at a swap meet. Let me know if you need pics of the control lever. I can post here if needed. Good Luck with your search for one.
  22. Does this has a clasp pin back? If so I recall these were in the Tour Packets of the 1969 Glidden Tour in Gatlinburg TN. My parents attended and both have one. I found one at a swap meet a few years ago, had to pay $25.00. Don't know if it was worth it or not. I was satisfied to find one for my collection. That dealer also attended the same Glidden Tour. It is a real conversation piece at AACA events. Enjoy!!
  23. These are advertised in Hemmings all the time. The company selling them has hundreds of them available. I do not have a copy or I would get the contact info. I have had these on cars with great results.
  24. From the taillight: 1931 or 1932 Chevrolet. Is there any thing stamped in the taillight for identification. Look on the fire wall for an ID plate.
  25. Thanks for the identification. Finding out what year Brisco will be a bonus!!
