  1. I know this is an Ambassador but it should give you some idea. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/nash/ambassador/1579348.html and another ambassador http://classiccars.com/listings/view/217600/1941-nash-ambassador-for-sale-in-new-braunfels-texas-78132
  2. A close guess that puts one looking in the right direction is better than no guess and another mystery part in the junk pile. My parts books are all at the shop where I have no Internet service! The close guess on the Toyota grille I posted in this forum put me searching in the right direction where a simple minute long search lead me right to the exact year. Before that I spent an hour not even coming close.
  3. The A designation I think stands for Autolite so these were Delco Remy replacments for Autolite. D stood for Delco and F was used for Ford. These should fit Chrysler applications.
  4. I was thinking the same thing. Makes you want to start collecting bikes instead of cars. You could fit a whole lot more in the garage
  5. Some outside pictures would really let you see the lines and see how well it flows. The rear body looks well done. A nice side shot would be great. If it's not original but well done including most of the chrome, a good running drivetrain not really needing much, Good upholstery, dash and gauges as well as top then it seems like it would have to still be worth all of 20,000-25,000 to me. That's what I would happily pay if the lines were right. A glass modern Auburn Speedster replica that's 20 years old sells for 35Gs.
  6. You are probably right on the starter pedal as I would think the clutch pedal would have had a rubber pad by the early 30's.
  7. Thanks. I was quite happy it made the daily mailing. I think the new shots really helped it stand out. Almost 2000 looks and 8 inquiries, one seriously interested party looking for a Mopar just like this to finish off. If he passes on it he'll regret it when he tries to find something similar later. You can't ask for better exposure than that. We'll see how it goes.
  8. I think everyone was stuck on Stutz because that's what the original poster said it was. Looks like it has the Radiator emblem and even hood ornament so I assumed as well that they must have said Stutz on them. It's still interesting to learn a little more about it. The windshield looks not quite right to me as well.
  9. That's the closest latch so far but I have to agree not a match. It has normal letters and numbers so I don't think it's Japanese in manufacture. Thanks for the guess though.
  10. I have an NOS heavy Die Cast Chrome plated grille I purchased at a local car show and have been unable to find a match. I was told by the seller they thought it was to a Lancia but I haven't found any matches. I think it's Foreign and late 1950's or early 1960's. It's pretty intricate. Aston Martin used a similar grille but the quality doesn't look good enough for them. Any guesses? The part number looks like a joke to me as it's stamped 01234567 and ABCDEFG. It's about 39 and 1/2 inches wide by 13 and 1/2 inches tall. It's actually made in 2 pieces as well with the smaller arched one being bolted to the bottom or larger piece. I'm not sure which way is right side up so I shot it both ways. I'm thinking the first way may be the correct orientation. It also has a very slight curve to it. Probably about a 1/2 inch overall.
  11. There was one exactly like it in the 1956 Olds parts car I bought for my car and if I remember correctly it was listed on the original invoice that was still in the glove box for the car, including the 500.00 car they traded in on it. (it's on my car now) Too bad it was a North east car and rotten because it had some neat paperwork with it and had been a one family car I bought off the son of the original owner. Great parts car as it was loaded with working accessories with amazingly nice chrome as it had been garaged and mine was a stripped 88.
  12. I use a Canon Power Shot A560 that my wife bought me when my old camera died about 5 years ago. I take 50-100 photos every night for ebay. (that averages out to around 100,000 photos) I usually just use the low resolution setting so the photos load quickly. So far it's the best Camera I have ever owned. So much I have worn the finish off half of it. Takes a san disc card. I would buy another in a heartbeat if this one ever gave up. I think mine was around 70.00 then. Probably atleast 20.00 cheaper by now as technology ages it gets cheaper.
  13. Does it have a card or san disc you can take out? If so just buy a new disc. I think they are around 10.00 and use that. Put the one you have now off to the side and use it only when you want to take photos you want to save. Makes it easy to delete as well as you can just delete all photos in one step to start from scratch.
  14. Looks like a fun project. Are any of the other cars for sale?
  15. Looks like it could be. Here is a 26 Cadillac light. I couldn't find other years with a google search but the idea is the same so probably similar vintage
  16. Looks like a clutch pedal to me. Pretty early as it has an iron pedal that doesn't look like it takes a cover. DDCP would be Mopar My guess is Dodge Truck about 34-38 Vintage by the 600,000 part number. Maybe even Plymouth truck as Plymouth used alot of the 600,000 numbers. What is the exact number? Just a wild guess so far.
  17. Yes it is. I have a spot pre registered at the Adirondack Nationals car show. So it's headed to their next weekend if it doesn't sell first.
  18. Some fresh photos I just took today. Partial Backhoe trades considered John Deere 310 or bigger 4 Wheel drive or Similar Caterpillar machine.
  19. Close but no call on the Chrod. I brought one home and it's a little different. However I did a little sleuthing and it really looks like it could be to a 1928 Lasalle
  20. I have a Loom for my 810. I'll have to bring it home tomorrow and compare it. Unfortunately I don't have an original distributor or cap. The looms do look alot like the cord ones from my memory.
  21. I could be wrong but they really resemble 36-37 Cord 810 or 812
  22. Here is another rebuilt with modern materials for 150.00 OBO shipped. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrysler-8-Fuel-Pump-1939-1940-1941-1942-1946-1947-1948-1949-AC-590-/161358312765?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2591b4753d&vxp=mtr
  23. I think Curti is on to something. Is there a wire coming out the back? Is the black part a rubber insulator?
  24. Boy that could be it. I can't believe I didn't see one in all the images I looked at. Thanks for the lead!
