  1. Thanks Johnpaul, We do search e-bay and as yet have not seen any good sheetmetal or bumpers with good ends. As this car still seems relatively modern to me, I'm suprised not to find more in wrecking yards , etc. Will keep looking. Dennis
  2. I need a rear decklid and front bumpers for a 66 cadillac. Anyone know of a good source? Thanks Dennis
  3. Curt, I have a 1935 851. It has been repainted , however it still sports the ORIGINAL leopard skin interior. Dennis
  4. Mathew, I have been using Caswell for the past three years. It is a relatively good system for the do-it-your selfer, but I would not recommend it for any type of venture. It is , however an excellent system for the type of problem referenced in the post. Dennis

  7. O.K. - No parts available for the L-29. I own 17 antique and classic cars and this car is the only one that I hesitate to drive because of the difficulty and expense of replacement parts. Anybody want to buy it?
  8. I have a 1922 Cleveland sedan, older resto but still a nice car. I need to thin the flock and although this would not be my first choice to go , I am testing the waters to see if there may be interest. Not nearly as expensive as the one in the post below. Any interest? looking about 16K.
  9. Hi, I'm putting together a 1948 chevy coupe that I did not take apart. There is a piece that bolts to the torque tube and covers the slip yoke. It is attached w/ 4 short bolt and 2 long bolts w/ castleated nuts and 2 springs. One is solid and the other piece is split [ 4 holes in one piece and 2 bolts in the other. It appears that the split is mounted to the bottom and the single piece is mounted to the top.Is this correct? Where do the long bolts and springs go? How tight should the 4 other bolts be? This may be astupid question but I have mounted it in different ways and they all appear ok. Can't find a pic anywhere. I can't really determine what the intended purpose is for this sleeve. Any helP?

  15. Looking for some fender lights for a 1930 WK model 87. I do not have a picture to post of the originals but they appear to have been mounted on a small stand with about 2-1/2'' diameter lenses. Thanks
  16. Ron, Sheets are in the mail. I have tool part # 1838182 and it also is available for borrow. This tool is not specifically correct for my car, but it may work. I have not tried it. The specific tool that I need is part # 820738. Anyone have this tool or able to copy? Dennis Just noticed list price for any of the three tools listed was 25 cents from Delco or United Motors. I wonder what happened to all of them?
  17. Steve, do you still have the transmission? Dennis (Tim's brother '27 AA)
  18. Ron, I have a synchronizing tool in the Delco box w/ instruction sheet. Prior to picking one up at Hershey last year, I had been looking for 5 years and have found only one other for sale. The fellow in front of me at the swap meet table who didn't quite understand the function, decided it would be a neat addition to his wall hanger collection and I couldn't talk him out of it. The tool is at my shop and I will not be there until 03/28. If I recall there are three different tools and this one is not specific for my car but I believe it will work. The only difference appears to be the attachment to the dist. shaft. I will be happy to post the info sheet, but I might need some assistance as computers ain't my thing. Dennis
