Let me know what part of the country you’re in, I’m near Cincinnati. You could save time and aggravation and just buy my car. -

Arch wood over driver side rear fender 1939 Ford Woodie
studeboy1930 replied to woodie123's topic in National Woodie Club
I have 3 for each side, ‘38-‘39. These are from Cincinnati Woodworks. When Chip was closing down, I purchased everything he had at the time for ‘38-‘39 Ford. I already had all the wood replaced on my car. The pieces are rough finished, need fit and final sanding. Have the finger joints. My ‘39 Standard is for sale now on Hemmings, so I don’t think I will be needing the excess wood. -
Finger Joint Jig Recommendations?
studeboy1930 replied to Alecwhankins's topic in National Woodie Club
I believe Wisconsin Knife Works can still help with supplying Finger Joint blades and cutter heads. I have my cutter head in a Wood Shaper. -
The drivers side door is the same as the passenger rear. The passenger side front door has the lock assembly in it, so it is different from the other 3 latch assemblies.

Value of Studebaker straight 8 engine
studeboy1930 replied to studeboy1930's topic in Automobiles and Parts - Buy/Sell
Believe it or not, I still have the engines this topic was about, and have added others over the years. At this point, I will just hang onto them. Maybe my 3 boys will have an auction when I am gone so the local scrap buyer can buy the lot for $25. -
I sold that car on this website maybe 10 years ago for $12,000. The gentleman that purchased it had it painted and interior work done, along with other mechanical work, then sold it for around $12,000. It is a very nice, solid car, built like a truck with heavy frame and massive rear axle. It would go 50 mph, but only had brakes on the rear axle. If you had to stop quick, those narrow tires would just lock up and slide on the road while the car kept going because of how much the car weighs. I included a photo I took when I pulled the car from its 30 year resting place in a warehouse in downtown Cincinnati.

Sold -
1967 IH truck. 549 V8 gas motor. 6 speed Allison automatic transmission. Double frame. 35,000 gvw. Runs, drives and dumps. Power steering, air brakes, air horns. A early heavy duty truck that is still able to earn its keep, and its a cool looking truck seldom seen on the road or shows. Ohio title. Stored inside. Drive it home $3900 cash. Near Cincinnati. Will consider trades of 30's-50's rust free trucks, dont have to run.

1988 Chevrolet Crewcab headliner?
studeboy1930 replied to bowtieollie's topic in Chevrolet & GMC - Trucks
The original headliner base is spun fiberglass. I just went thru this issue with my 1986 K30. There seems to be nothing available yet aftermarket, but the need is there. I was able to locate an original that I used. They are very delicate and easily damaged. I took it to the local upholstery shop, and they were able to cover it for me. Best to check Craigslist for someone parting a 73-91 crew cab out. -

Thank you for your help, I have found multiple pictures on the internet of 1928 Auburns with straight 8 engines that have this combo on them. You guys have been a great help. I hope someone needs it.

1973 Buick Apollo. Chevy 250 inline 6 with 3 speed manual transmission. Manual steering, manual drum brakes. Original Delco AM/FM with one front speaker. Not ran or driven since 2000. Motor turns free, rolls free. Odometer reads 32,094. $3400 cash Near Cincinnati

I don't know what this is off of, but whatever it was, it was large. This cast aluminum radiator shell is 52" high, 27" wide, and 8" thick. It is in remarkably great condition with the exception of the aluminum being oxidized, it is not pitted, The stainless trim and screen are nice. Great for your speedster project, or wall hanger like it has been used for many many years. Pick up near Cincinnati. $450

Looking for rear quarter window locks and handles

Thanks for the info. They do not match the ones on my '39, but they are a close resemblance. If anyone knows for sure, feel free to respond.
