  8. whats the park position on the colmn for than? i do not understand alot about this car first one i ever worked on and i am suprized i even got it this far only thanks to everyone on here for sure i took off the shift rod and it seems like there is a park there but the pin just jumps when you rock it back and forth i just had the tranny built before putting the motor back in so i am going to call him tomarow and see what he says as well thanks everyone Greg
  9. i got the old 52 back together for the probably 10th time motor runs great tranny rebuilt everything great got everything together and when i backed up it went fine went forward no problem but no dang park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 the thing was nick named cristen 2 for a reason Greg

  13. i sent an email to wolfgang, in austria but it keeps kicking it back i traced my family tree back that far and just want to see if i can go further if someone over there can give me a bit of direction i know i have family over there i rember my great gandma telling us about it and what she went threw to get on the boat to come over here and that family was left behind it must have been a tough world back then thanks Greg

  18. the pump is in the timeing cover on these i believe, 4 bolts on the bottom Greg

Hi John did you fill the oil filter as much as you could before putting it on, that seems to help otherwise i would say the pump is bad if it started the cam gear to the distributor shoud be good so from there down is probably bad you can take it apart right from the bottom to see, i think 4 bolts hold it to the timing chain cover? Greg
