Wait for Tom R to jump in on this matter. They cant be very old . I would guess they are 08 or 09.... The cross engine cant be any newer than 1906. How big is the picture? Most likely ,something can be found out about this gathering by scouring local news papers from this town. I have my grand fathers 1902 Crest runabout bought by him in 1939. We never knew who bought it NEW until last year. I was working in the town where the car came from in 1939 and speaking with the local historian, learned that in 1929 the local businessmen were asked to write to the senior class boys and recommend a honorable business to seek employment. The Buick dealer at that time of coarse recommended the automobile business. When asked about his first dealings with a auto he mentioned a CREST RUNABOUT that was owned new by the local druggist in town.(Wayland NY) He said it was sold to a local merchant for a "Thing of interest". This was the man my granddad bought it from. This letter to the seniors was at the local historical society all these years. Now I know the Complete history of my 113 year old car from new. And it was all for the asking...

The big car first in line is a model H and they next 2 are model Gs . Towards the back is a cross engine and without a loop I cant tell about the others. Its a nice picture!

Ive had Dodge Brothers cars but never a roadster. I would like to know from someone in the DB club how many of these cars are listed and if it was a low production car. Maybe even an aprox value of the car as-is garage fresh needing tires and de - mothballing.

Im looking at a 1927 DB sport roadster with a rumble seat. Its a wood wheel car and is quite complete. The serial number on the toe board tag is A 733272. The car is in fair original condition. QUESTION: How rare are these cars? What was the production of the sport roadster? Are there many survivors? Were wire wheels a option in 27? Thanks Mike

Oddly enough whenever somebody finds old parts they have no idea what they fit they call them MODEL T. I think DB as well.

I love buying cars that are apart.... if its a car you know in side and out. I like Franklins and I can look at one and know in 20 minutes what is there or not. And it saves lots of work taking them apart. They can be bought usually 50 cents on the dollar.

Hi Peter,
Did you get my email regarding the rear body section I know of that would be correct for your car? I could help with shipping. Mike

NAPA auto stores has a universal spring that has one long leg that can be cut off and a new curl put on it that looks correct and works great. Ive used them.

Im selling an original 1958 Willys Jeep 1 ton 4x4 Fire Departments "Grass truck" .It was one of 6 made .I have the service records ,build sheet and equipment specs from when made new. The equipment is a 500 gal water tank ,a reel with 100 ft of high pressure hose and under belly pump. All this could be removed and make a super off road or parade vehicle. The truck comes with 2 sets of wheels and tire, the originals with military tires and a set of 12 inch wide mud tires the Fire Co equipped the truck with years later. The truck is running and driving and has a good transferable title . The paint is thin, the body is nice. Ill post pictures later today. Price is $10,000. Mike West Livonia NY 585 738 1541

This car would be a good candidate for rebody in my opinion. Like a previous reply, after the cherry's are gone ,there is always the remains that take up a lot of space and little calling. There are a lot of clever body men in the hobby that could make a open car out of this car, not intending to mislead anyone with what they have when done , and have a lot of fun with it. Just my opinion. Wind in your face is fun with a real or reinvented car ! Just my opinion.
