A few years ago in the HCCA gazette was a illustration of different types on rims, side and lock rings for the earl cars. Ive misplaced the article and curious if anyone reading this is familiar with what I saw. If so maybe it could be scanned and posted? Thanks Mike

My lock rings are reversible (straight sidewall-clincher other side) but do not have those lugs on them They are not needed to be functional. I have 5 left.

Im selling several side and lock rings in quite good shape fresh out of a old garage in town. I also have 4 - 27 inch flat base non detachable rims and a pair of new (Coker) 26 inch rims and side rings. Call with questions. Mike 585 738 1541

Howard - Right on.. Do not trust the marks. I recently found that the 2 on the end of the crank shaft marked in correctly. In the end I set the crank at TDC #1 and rotated cam until the #6 exhaust valve closed and used this as a initial setting. I installed the chain and started the car instantly. Then I followed the directions outlined in a old John Burns article (ACN) as described by you an double checked my work. Don't trust the marks.
