    Those are called trim stars made by saxon if I remember correctly I have a few NOS ones the box as stated they were popular on motorcycles and also used for cars as ornaments on the body or fender skirts.

    That's not the correct bracket for 49-52 convertible I'm pretty sure it should be the 50-52 brackets for a hardtop they have a different shape.

    Ok upon further research this is actually a 1946 clock because it has the earlier 42 face with a 47-48 outer ring paint color
