Smaltzie You'll need Buick rocker arm bolts they have a thin area that the oil flow to rockers runs through, at least the end bolts.

Dan Cool idea! I had pretty much changed my mind about selling it but I got this guy flying in to look at it with cash so I don't know what will happen. I could do this for real with the parts car. LOL

Dan I plan to register for CTC Saturday. I have nothing to haul stuff with. Maybe I'll get a trailer and hitch with some air shocks and add a couple rows to the radiator? I'd like to start a T bucket or something with this as power.

Jaybird The only way I've found the correct torque ball seal for a 56 is NOS on e-bay the last one went for over $100. I think Steele rubber (1-800-544-88665)will rebuild your old seal.

Nike Ther is a seal at the front of the torque tube also.

Danny I had the top off my parts car dash no way to the light switch from there, speedo etc. in the way.

pontiac59 I'd check the 55 rear for use in the 40 they may be the same it will have a 3.23 or so ratio. 56 up is a different rear.
