  1. 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III 2 door coupe - $3,500 (pasco, wa) https://eastoregon.craigslist.org/ctd/d/pasco-1969-lincoln-continental-mark-iii/7444893989.html 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III, 2 door coupe. 460ci/365HP 4-barrel big block V8, automatic. 86,632 miles. White with green interior and green painted top. Solid car, long time well-known local family ownership since 1973 it appears. Still has the original build sheet! Car has been in storage for a number of years, so I’d recommend key systems be checked before any real road use. The interior needs some attention as the leather seats have some tears and the leather has hardened a bit over the years. The top is painted green and is NOT a vinyl top. The paint does have some cracking in some areas. The engine starts and runs strong and does run down the road comfortably. The car is not perfect, but a solid car to enjoy and fix up as a new owner would like. These cars are increasing in value and becoming real collector cars. This car is priced well as a great start for a fun project $3500. email - 825fe351eac53b49bbb458c997484a66@sale.craigslist.org

  3. Even though the subject car was somewhat off-topic (AACA), the answers were helpful and respectful, mostly. I am happy to see such responses.
  4. The tools on the running board and the pile of parts on the back seat are a little worrisome. Skewed front bumper, not so much. Glad it doesn't have those frog-eye headlights.

It has carburetor issues that need to be addressed as of this writing. I would describe this as a great 50' car. It looks great 50 feet away. For the right collector that would like to make this your own with various issues to make it the perfect car and with a potential increase in value, this is the car for you. With over 100 photos that shows everything. Any questions you might have you are invited to text or call Don at (509) 301-1498. 14. 1928 Chevy national convertible hotrod - $16,999 https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/littleton-1928-chevy-national/7442314028.html email: 0fbad3d4dad532c3ae6cb2f7d61e3605@sale.craigslist.org Own and drive a piece of history with this Chevrolet from 1928! Not your average Ford model A which are all over the place still. This is a chevy. Amazingly well cared for car that has been on the road for almost 95 years. Very driveable around town but honestly the top speed is about 40 mph as it sits. It has its original 4 cylinder 171 cid engine which was rebuilt. Mated up to its original 3 speed on the floor manual transmission. A 216 cid stovebolt 6 cylinder about 80hp will come with it along with extra parts including the original fenders and floor boards and windshield and owners manual. The back quarters are a custom handmade fiberglass that are perfect. All new oak framing throughout the entire car. 1928 was the first year for 4 wheel brakes. A very rare car you won't see at your local car shows. Planned to make it into a dry lake racer style hotrod and drive it in this years hotrod hill climb in Central City but the event was canceled. The car gets lots of looks and attention being a chevy and not your type Ford. Perfect for some winter wrenching just before car show season. Make yourself a rare Chevrolet hotrod.

  20. Thank you, Don. I was anticipating a boat load of red tape and delays. I guess the real challenge may lie at the hands of my local motor vehicle department. There seems to be no simple way to deal with them sometimes. Thanks again.
  21. My money is on a late 1930's Austin Special. We just haven't found the exact one yet. I think the original car pictured has been modified from stock. (I don't see any indication of fire-fighting equipment either.)
  22. Since there are many Canadian AACA members, I would like to ask you (and US members, too), what the current procedure for importing cars, especially collector cars, into the US from Canada - pandemic not withstanding. Are there minimum vehicle age requirements, value concerns, border crossing restrictions, lengthy paperwork forms, taxes and/or duties, and what is the best way to safely, for buyer and seller, to transfer funds. For the US members: once in the states, are there difficulties getting a clear US title having a Canadian registration to transfer? Second question: Importing "parts" both in the form of loose, disassembled parts and, alternately, an assembled "parts car" with no title or registration. Are there different procedures? There may be a web site that spells out all the technicalities, but personal knowledge and experiences would be most helpful. I would be most interested in importing a '30's or '40's car with a sales price of US $20k or less. Thanks in advance for any information.
