Mitch yes you can disconnect the vacuum clutch take the whole system out of the car and put it on the shelf The readjust the clutch You will have to put a pipe plug in the intake manifold And don’t use the freewheeling device it ruins the transmission I took everything out of my 34 dodge coupe much better The system is actually dangerous some states actually out lawed it There is no engine braking going down hills and it burns out the brakes. Now that I have the 34 Dodge pretty much straightened out it going to be my daily driver this coming summer Some people think I’m crazy so I tell them What do you think they drove back then the roads were 100 times crappier back then and they were built stronger then the 💩 they make today It’s very reliable starts every time just have to add turn signals because the morons today don’t know what hand signals are. Now Just looking for something weird to drive next winter I have snow tires for it and some other parts I would probably have less money into it then my 34 dodge brothers coupe and that’s with an engine rebuild John
