  1. How often do you have to add water to those NAPA batteries?
  2. I guess we are going to have to pay more attention to who we’re responding to, especially if they don’t have many posts. Hopefully nothing will come of this.
  3. I received a response to my WTB post asking me to email if still interested in buying. I responded but have not heard back. Then I noticed that he only had three posts so I checked them and all three were identical responses to WTB posts in the last six hours. Probably phishing for emails. I have reported the issue. I suggest do not respond to Creativeimagine until we know more. Steve
  4. Spinnyhill, I have the NAPA brake line catalogue and I can’t find anything that will work. It needs a banjo fitting for a 1/2-20 banjo bolt on one end and a 5/16” female inverted flare on the other.
  5. I need a flexible brake line from my master cylinder to the frame T fitting on a 1933 REO. Who makes them?
  6. One of the outer bands is missing the SS trim and both of the sidewall trims are missing.
  7. Not trying to intrude on a Royale thread but: I have a set of the covers like what’s on that coupe that came with my 1933 REO Model S Elite Coupe. They seem to be sized for a 6:00-17 tire. The sidewall cover fits the 17” wheel fine but the O.D. Is to large for a 5:25-5:50 tire and the outer cover is a really tight fit on a 6:50-17 tire. I don’t know if they are factory or aftermarket and I don’t know what size tires the 33 Model S came with but the 6:50-17 tire just barely fits in the fender well while the 5:25-5:50 looks way to small.
  8. I need a source for parts or rebuilding service for a Ross steering box in a 1933 REO Model S. Thanks, Steve
  9. I need a source for a choke and spark advance push/pull cable with the knobs marked for each application. Thanks, Steve
  10. Need exhaust manifold for a 1933 REO Model S. Mine has an ear broken off the exhaust pipe flange. With or without intake.
  11. Morgan, why not try some of that Rug Doctor anti-foam just to see what happens? If it works, it’s an easy solution.
  12. FWIW 99% of my interaction with this forum and others has been on my iPad which I’m on right now. I’ve never had problems downloading pictures although I don’t think I’ve tried more than three. Steve
  13. It’s a fairly common design for later cars. If I’m not mistaken yours is a different design. Mine mounts on the front of the engine and is belt driven from the crankshaft and has been rebuilt with a ceramic seal so no leaks. This picture is before it was rebuilt.
  14. Not in my REO. I’ve been following this thread with interest. I got my 32 REO sedan drivable this spring and I’ve put almost a thousand miles on it with distilled water in the radiator while I worked out the bugs. Friday I changed over to NAPA green EG and a bottle of Mac’s 1300 anti rust. I’m happy to report absolutely no foaming issues whatsoever in 70+ miles of driving, some of it pushing the REO harder than I really want to. (55 mph). YMMV, Steve
  15. Yea, but talk about rust protection....😳
  16. If you like reading here is a patent from February 12, 1935 for a antifoaming agent for antifreeze applications that mentions automobile radiators so the problem and the solution pre-dates me and I suppose most of you folks too. Now if I just knew what Montan wax was I could make my own. https://patents.google.com/patent/US2127490A/en Steve
  17. Rock Valley https://www.rockvalleyantiqueautoparts.com/products.htm can make you one out of stainless steel. It won’t be cheap but it’ll be forever. They made me one for my REO.
  18. I’ve got one of these but fortunately haven’t had to use it yet so I can’t tell you how it works. https://andersenhitches.com/Products/3620--rapid-jack.aspx
  19. Thanks everyone for all the information. My goal is to buy the right trailer the first time and your suggestions will make that decision easier. Steve
