  1. Looks like a very impressive car at a reasonable price to me!
  2. Why would anyone thing those photos were adequate?
  3. Ha! Good catch...you can't pull a fast one on this forum!
  4. Looks like it's still (or maybe again) for sale....looks pretty good but no info about mechanical condition! https://skagit.craigslist.org/cto/d/blaine-1938-desoto/7724282226.html 1938 Desoto sedan 3 speed with overdrive. Suicide doors looks to be mostly original. Some minor paint peeling but rare to find this old of car in this great of shape running and interior intact. 5. Obviously a very proud owner! https://wenatchee.craigslist.org/cto/d/east-wenatchee-1951-packard/7731932021.html Original well cared for 1951 Packard, all original Antique/Classic plates...Asking $10,000 OBO 509-860-4823
  6. I haven't seen this paint scheme (correct?) , but it does look like a nice driver. (more pics in ad) By the way, it's a great example of how computer images distort color! I'm sure the front and rear seats match in "Real Life!" https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/d/puyallup-1952-cadillac-series-62/7729613942.html 50th Anniversary Edition Series 62 with the gold wings under the headlights. Original 331 CI engine. Runs and drives great. Brand new dual exhaust, electronic ignition and freeze plugs. Radio needs work. Minor imperfections in body but no rust. This car is a time capsule of the Cadillacs of that time and is mostly original. The 1952 models were the first to feature through-the-bumper dual exhaust. 7. A lot of money but a really nice example! Much more text and pictures in ad... https://monterey.craigslist.org/cto/d/monterey-1950-chevrolet-sedan-delivery/7731671715.html All the sheet metal is original from top to bottom. Pop the hood and check out the straight six set in its original compartment. The electrical system has been upgraded to 12 volts, but that's the extent of the modernization. The original air cleaner, newer spark plugs and wire set were on the car as well as a new fuel pump. Gray paint and the Blue Flame decal are as the motor was from factory, matte black paint throughout the compartment. Full frame off restoration was in about 2005. This Sedan Delivery was in Old Cars Vol. 45 No. 4 February 11, 2016. I have posted a lot of pictures just taken today (in a light drizzle) and will be posting more, including some from the former owner at car shows etc. I am happy to take any more pictures you request. 8. I don't know how easy it is for a home mechanic to deal with the hydraulic system, but there is a very active club in the area where this car is for sale. Also, they are probably right about "most comfortable suspension ever designed". A neighbor had one and as a kid I always loved the one spoke steering wheel!
  9. I'd like it better if it was a beer you can't get anymore...Burgermeister?
  10. The 7 main six follows the pattern of the first Chryslers, designed by Zeder, Breer and Skelton. That engine was very advanced for it's time (1924) but redesigned with 4 main bearings beginning in 1930. No doubt cheaper to manufacture. The "big" eight used in the Imperial also followed this pattern (9 main bearings!) , where as the smaller eight was more closely related to the redesigned six, which continued in use (with updates) into the late 60's.
  11. much work needed...maybe 30 years ago when this assemblage would have been $1200 and I was younger... The ad shows a contact number but I'm not able to get it (CL Error) https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/d/centralia-1927-buick-master-six-brougham/7726952974.html# For sale is a 1927 Buick master six Brougham. I started work on it but medical condition has stopped my work on it. Does need some metal work, plus also needs some of the wood body frame replaced. Comes with 2 engines, 2 transmissions, newer tires, plus I bought a whole new wiring harness for the car that is made of the same type of materials that the car would have had when it was new. Comes with 2 updraft carburetors, plus several other items I have bought for it. The pictures are decent and gives you an idea what condition it is in. This was a survivor when I got it but at some point in it's life it had a new roof put on it and the job was bad and it leaked hence the rot in the wood frame. In 1927 this was the top of the line for Buick and is a very large 4 door car. The car has a inline OHV 274 ci engine. The 1927 Master six Brougham had a production of only about 119 thousand give or take. While I loathe the word rare, this is an uncommon car to come by these days. It has to my understanding always lived here in Lewis county. If you have further questions please feel free to get a hold of me and ask. Just for added info even though the car pics show no doors on it all 4 are there and intact. email: 94e7113e5c003c90aa5fce942f725ce6@sale.craigslist.org
  12. Silly price ($30k) but it sure looks like fun! More pics (but no more information) in ad https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/cto/d/mulino-1922-dodge-roadster/7731139983.html 1922 dodge roadster. It’s in great shape. Runs and drives. It’s a beautiful old car. Asking $30,000 obo.
  13. This seems like the real deal! https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/d/renton-ford-model-roadster/7731238540.html Very original 1913 model T Roadster. Advertising for neighbor, been sitting in a garage for 40+ years, true barn find, and they have the title. Sitting on flat rotten tires, so pictures are not the best, but it appears to be complete, and totally unrestored. Wood spoke wheels appear to be in very good condition, and all wood parts good. Engine cranks with front crank, not locked up. The acetylene powered headlamps are not on the car, but are intact and included with the car. Sale is as is, where is: will have to be pulled out of the garage and onto a flatbed to be transported away. (206) 396-0634
  14. Another big project for about half the price of a complete running one. Probably lots of good mechanical parts.... https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/citrus-heights-1931-chevrolet-door/7731510624.html 1931 Chevrolet 2 door 5 passenger for sale. Its a project. Does not run or drive. Clean title / non opp registration and original service manual in hand Sat for many years. Soft top is gone, some wood around top need to be replaced but it's complete and decent shape overall minus interior. Planned to do a choptop and swap drivetrain but it's to original to cut up so decided to sell as is. (530) 908-6474
  15. Oops! My error Here it is...out in the farm land about half way between Fresno and Bakersfield CA. (middle of nowhere) https://visalia.craigslist.org/cto/d/lindsay-1936-ford-sedan/7731294159.html
  16. They may not be...luckily the power applied through them and the speed they attain is also similar to a bicycle.
  17. I have always thought these were the most attractive 50's pickups. I guess that paint isn't primer...just that color. 19. Very nice car for Model A money! You don't get the Ford's wonderful club network and parts support, but this car has some great features, including a seven main bearing engine, full pressure oiling (with a filter!) and 4 wheel hydraulic brakes.
