  1. I use the Permatex black,called "right stuff" and it is available in mini-caulking style tubes and cheez wiz style. Bill

  6. Billy, I have not had any glass made for my 39 yet, but I have for other cars. And I use local glass shop to cut. Binswainger glass. i will be calling on them shortly when I get mine ready. hope this helps you. bill

I need help trying to identify engine ID it is located lower left of distributor on pad, number 50555157 i was told it originally had poured bearing and has been upgraded and rebuilt at machine shop with virtually no highway miles afterwards. it is in a 1939 Buick Roadmaster with divider window, 133" wb. which I believe is a series 81F data plate on firewall is missing. thanks bill

  10. Sat in a barn for some time. The bumpers are actually silver powder coated. ive been told it is a low production. I'm still researching, no data plate on firewall.

  12. Thanks for your replays. I've been in contact with Doug Seybold and he is a wealth of knowledge. I do not have a data plate on firewall. im certain it is a 1939 roadmaster with 133" wheelbase. and the engine has been changed engine# 50555157 i was told it was the 81F when purchased. It does have the divider window. i will try to upload a picture.
  13. Thank you for the reply. I have the 39 roadmaster limited 80, with the divider window. I did have the opportunity to speak with Dave on the phone, very helpful and knowledgeable, but nothing for parts. thanks for your helpful information.
  14. I'm looking for lots of parts for my car. A lot of interior is missing, steering wheel, switches,clock,handles, etc. more importantly, I need exterior trim that goes around door Windows. just trying to make a good driver. any help would be greatful. thanks bill
