  2. Life taken a new path for me and I have a few items to part with. These are original and in amazing condition. Shipping available Dark brown gauge cluster bezel, the nicest one I’ve ever seen. It’s straight, leathers soft and no broken tabs $200 Ginger upper dash insert $100 in exceptional condition Brake conversion package (reman booster, new master cyl and prop valve) $250
  3. Most recent project, swapping a 2.4 turbo into a wide body conquest
  4. Disregard my advice, I just noticed your tc is a 3.0 v6 and this advice is more helpful for 8v turbo and 16v turbo. I can honestly say I don’t know much with the 3.0 cars. I’ve always swapped them for 8v turbo engines or recently 2.4 turbo swap everything 😛
  5. All factor map sensors are 2 bar, all have the same voltage calibration and the only difference throughout the 85-92 Fwd turbo dodge cars is the connector style. Another common culprit when diagnosing a map sensor related issue is a bad bar read solenoid. This solenoid adjusts for altitude changes and they often go bad, usually they get stuck closed and then your map sensor won’t get an accurate reading. If changing map sensors doesn’t fix your issue double check vacuum lines/routing and then try replacing barometric pressure (baro read solenoid). Good luck
  6. Nice shape LH and RH headlight lenses $100. I accept PayPal, Zelle or Venmo Thanks
  7. I think I just flipped mine and it seals up better
  8. Hi! I’d inspect the basics first. -*Did it have old bad gas in the tank* -Should you replace the fuel filter -What do your spark plugs look like -What condition is the battery in -Are harness grounding points corroded -Are your rubber vacuum hoses rotted -Are your fuel hoses rotted and be replaced before an engine fire occurs -Is your ignition timing set correctly -Is your timing belt in need of replacement -CHECK FAULT CODES Usually a good visual inspection on a car that hasn’t been driven in a long time is enough to get you pointed in the right direction. Let us know what you find
  9. The cable gets stretched, trans clutch pressure plate has more clamping force with 16v cars also the tb arm looks shorter with our trans so maybe less leverage and more stress on the cable. Not sure why Chrysler didn’t go hydraulic when all the comparable cars of that time did. Yes as already mentioned there’s an adjuster on the backside of clutch pedal try making that adjustment first. I’m going to have a new cable made soon. There’s a lot of cable shops that can make a custom cable. I’ll let you know how mine turns out sometime next year. My trans feels so nice but I’d like to swap it at some point for a 3.77 FD 523. I have everything to swap it but my trans shifts perfectly. I added a shim or stack of fender washers under the cable end on the trans side till I get the new cable. Took care of the problem temporarily.
  10. Thanks for the positive feedback wild bill!
  11. You can always shoot me an email. Resinkane@gmail.com
  12. I’m a fan of OE replacement mounts. Rockauto or just about anyone will have them. Search same year daytona 2.2 if you can’t find them. Front and trans mount have little tabs that hold it into the bracket. Take a picture of the front mount before you remove the old one. There’s a particular way that it needs to go back in. The passenger side is just bolt in replacement. Let us k ow if you have any issues but it’s pretty straight forward. Also might want to take the opportunity to remove corrosion and apply a protective coating of your choice.
  13. Check out the Shelby Dodge Auto Club! Good people in that club and fair treatment. Also many female members there. They appreciate the TC’s too many of their members own TC’s including myself. I will be at their convention this year in Detroit MI. Check out their Facebook page.
  14. The hoods are also different and the radiator supports
  15. Ask me how I know 😆 I’ve wasted a lot of money on silicone mold disasters. I think I’m on mold #5 with the fuel door levers.
  16. Also there’s another option, if you were to separate the glass from the lamp housing you could in fact create a 2 piece silicone mold and make plastic replacement lenses. You would need a vacuum degassing chamber to pull air bubbles out of the resin before you pour and you’d also want a pressure pot to push air bubbles out of your mold box while it cures. I was also going to do this and I have the equipment. The amount of silicone you’d need to create the mold would cost about $150-250 and that’s never a sure thing. You could end up with a mold that has a defect and you just wasted $250 and hours and hours of your time.
  17. A few years ago I was thinking of producing these. The PTFE plastic sheet can be pricey and there would be a considerable amount of time investing in tooling set up. It’s hard to make parts for this community because it’s more of a labor of love than a profiting venture. I would love to see someone do it though. If you had a good design you could make lens covers for all kinds of collector car head lamps and it may be worth your while if you reach out to other car groups with a successful product.
  18. I’ve never had to freight anything. I could look into this and get back to you.
  19. Hello again my fellow TC fanatics! I have come across yet another A543 5 speed transmission. I have use for the guts but the case is available for anyone who’s interested. These are so rare now days and so hard to come by. Would be a great opportunity for someone to swap in a 5 speed on a 3.0L TC. Any questions reply or PM me. I would like $100 for the trans case. I might also be able to scrounge up some internals for it “small spline stuff” location: WI 53146
  20. Just know that the TPS connector is different with different year throttle bodies. I believe there’s 3 different styles so take a good look at your and the one your buying.
  21. There’s a bunch on eBay. Type in Chrysler 2.2 throttle body. There's even an NOS one in the link below. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-OEM-For-Chrysler-2-2L-Holley-Throttle-Body-W-TPS-Sensor-IAC-Valve-/185122303505?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
