  1. And again following on from Mr Earl's first post. Boyded Ltd was located at 119 Phillip Street, Sydney, Australia. Note the '38 Sloper at the right of the photo
  2. Jackson's Motor Dealers - Launceston, Tasmania opened 1909 - listed in official Buick documents as a Buick dealer at least in the 1920s.

Following on from Mr Earl who provided a photo of the Boyed (GM) Holden dealership in down town Sydney Australia, the attached photo is of the Boyed Holden service centre, now turned into a block of apartments. they serviced the full range of GM products including Buicks (opened 1937) as far a I recall
  6. Not quite a dealership but hope you find it interesting - Carrington Road GM plant - southern suburb of Sydney Australia - operated during 1920s and 1930s, currently under threat of demolition.

  8. Hi All, Looking at exploring this new topic, I see the Bob's sells what they call a "bumper panel" for the '38 Buick. I was wondering whether anyone had images of their OEM bumper panel/ stone guard with a particular focus on whether there might have been one designed specifically for the '36. I have found this image on the Barns Finds website to get things started.

  12. HI Gary, thanks for the tip, I had been considering something like this but have only found rubber strips so far.

  14. In researching an article on '36 Buick trunks I found reference to felt strips being fitted to the edge of fittings as well. Can you tell what type of tacks are being used, flat-headed furniture type tacks?
