My brother for several years has own a 65 Mustang couple with 200 c.i. engine. Over past 5 years he has had to have the auto light 1100 series carburetor rebuild 3 times. It seen that ever time he has it rebuilt it works good for that season. When he gets it out for the next season it dies at stop signs and stop lights. Has trouble idling. That diaphragm on the front of the carburetor that has to do acceleration always goes bad overwinter. He is about fed up with the auto light and is looking for an alternative carburetor. Any suggestions on carburetors for 6 cylinder Mustang?
