    This custom 58 looks like it has a similar door. That's where I got the idea. All the wagons I see have it on drivers side.

    Those were the standard hubcap for 1954 Hornets, but were in the earlier accessory catalogs. Didn't sell well, maybe they had so many left that they used them up on the '54s. They had a real problem flying off the wheel on hard turns. The '54 wheels eventually had a small piece welded to the wheel to keep them from rotating and cutting the valve stem.

    The original post states price is $12500 , if that is correct the vehicle in the photos is a " Bargain" You would never duplicate it for that price. Looks well done , just not my style.
