2016 Buick Club of America 50th Anniversary Event
41Roadmaster replied to 38Buick 80C's topic in Buick - Meets & Tours
We've registered our 1941-76C, and fingers crossed, we'll have it there. It's a fresh restoration, so I'm not so sure about driving it 550 miles from Charlotte NC. I know, I'm too worried to drive my own car. I'm pitiful, shame, shame, shame : ) Anyone in the southeast considered chipping in on multi-car trailering? I have no experience with this but maybe others do? Still scratching my head...hummmm. Sooo looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing your cars! Anderson -
1953 Buick NOS Exhaust Manifold Set (50-70 Series)
41Roadmaster replied to 41Roadmaster's topic in Buick - Buy/Sell
I wish they fit a '41 : ) PM sent! A -
I have listings on eBay for NOS right and left exhaust manifolds. They are marked 1953 Buick 50-70 Series, and were purchased from an estate sale of a 1953 Buick collector. Starting bids are $299 each plus shipping. If there is a forum member here that needs these, feel free to contact me by PM. I'm always looking for hard-to-find '41 Buick items, so trading may be a possibility. http://www.ebay.com/itm/201480741598?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/201480744526?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Hello All, I'm looking for a 1941 Buick windlace retainer set (front, L&R). Mine seemed to have grown legs and walked off. I believe these are interchangeable between all models. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks, Anderson

Word Scramble...GM's Assembly Plant Auction (July 2015 Bugle)
41Roadmaster replied to 41Roadmaster's topic in Buick - General
If you're feeling a bit risque...right above the garage door... "MANSLAYER BOOTS & GARMENTS" If you do it, I'll make the ampersand for ya, ha! Enjoy, A -
I was delighted to read Mr Earl's article on the Doraville GM Plant auction (Atlanta) in the July 2015 Bugle. Our dutiful forum moderator included great photos of the plant and auction items as well as a detailed account of the plant's history. Mr Earl (AKA Lamahhh) bid and won on the original building facade letters that spelled out "GENERAL MOTORS ASSEMBLY PLANT." What a find! As a fun distraction, I thought it might be nice to thank/help Mr Earl with options for recombining these letters...just in case he wanted some variety. I'll throw out "LAMARS SEEMLY PLANET" with enough letters leftover for "BONGOS" Any other suggestions? (Thanks for sharing this great experience Lamar) Anderson

Just registered online and it was a breeze! Jeff, thanks so much to you and others for putting this celebration together. Looking forward to it Now to get my car running so we can tour some of those covered bridges! Anderson -
Thanks Mike, interesting! Wayne, I listed it as used because of the box being opened. Ebay doesn't have a "NOS" catagory, and they require something "new" to be unopened. Based on the completeness of the contents, the condition of the frames, the instructions and hardware (the bag was stapled shut and I opened it for photos), it's my opinion that it is NOS. Thanks.
