  1. 1952 Rolls Royce Earls Court Motor Show car and once owned by the famous Spitfire pilot plastic surgeon Sir Archie McIndoe. Serial number WVH9 Close coupled limo with electric division. 4.5 litre manual 4 speed. London Motor show car. FSH. Engine, gearbox axle superb. 4 new original spec Firestone tyres. Front brakes and servo recently rebuilt. Wood v good, corners a little damaged from a small water ingress. Leather v good. Headlining v good. Drivers carpet slightly frayed (was going to fit larger foot mat) Door cards v good. Large tools present. Small tools 90% complete. Body sound solid and presentable. Drives well at 70-75 mph all day.   2. In 1928, with the new Model 72, Chrysler racers performed admirably in European long-distance competitions. Along with the 1928 Millie Miglia, additional races included both the 24 Hours of Le Mans and SPA 24 Hours. In total, the 72 Roadster model was entered in 13 races that year with 9 finishes (4 retirements); and was successful in part to the high compression 249/85 HP “Red Head” engine, one of the most powerful of the era.   12. From the seller: I have driven it at 35 miles an hour. The 8 volt batterys are the trick. Everyone else uses 6 volt and some of the restorers scrimp on the number of batteries

  15. This 1904 Pierce Motorette has been VCC dated and has successfully completed the London-Brighton Veteran Car Run on several occasions. In the early 50's it was one of a number of important automobiles in the collection of famed tenor James Melton who displayed it in his Connecticut museum and in his Autorama in Hypoluxo, Florida. It was purchased from Melton by radio heir Atwater Kent, Jr. and later donated to the Pennsylvania State Museum. It was acquired from the Museum in 1996 by Charlie Brown of the UK who recommissioned it to campaign in the LTB. Dated by the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain, A highly original and correct car, it is thought to have been repainted at one point, but is still retaining much of its upholstery. Car No. 187 Ran in the LTR: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008,2009, and 2010. Has been meticulously maintained with over $3,000.00 worth of work done over the last few years (invoice available).
