Well, not ready for paint this weekend. Still prepping the doors and odds and ends on the car body. Thanks to reading 95Cardninal post on a screw that was broken in the rear gate latch, I found one of mine that was also broken and was able to remove it. This prompted me to revise the car and removed 5 other fasteners that had broken off during removal. I am really close to finishing. Have a few details to finish up on the last door and then one more once over on all of the surfaces. Then, have to find and hang the plastic on the walls. Glad I took the time and slowed down a bit. -

Rear door and hatch and driver front door ready for paint and hung. This time, I purchased heavy duty hooks and swivels, along with chain to hang them from the ceiling for paint. Takes up less space and can work from one side to paint. -

Maybe @95CardinalJim will chime in -
Looking for as close to perfect of this part in the picture. Mine had been damaged by whoever previously tried to remove the dash. This one has been painted. The one I am looking for should be chrome plated and shiny

I have a friend looking for a 48’ Roadmaster convertible. Preferably in perfect original condition. Would consider a correctly restored example. Let me know what is out there and who to contact. He would like to move on a purchase as soon as possible thanks Matt

Passenger side done. Will still have to scrape off the undercoating. Which orange is better? The first one, or this one? I think all of my joints hurt at this stage of the game. Maybe need to work on some more sanding for awhile and get off the floor and out of cramped spaces. should have material to cover the wheel wells sometime this coming week. -

Let me check and see what I have. Some of mine were damaged by water and may have thrown them out. Might take awhile to find them…. -

Found a bad spot in the trunk area. This one took awhile to cut out and fix. Finally finished up today and sealed all the seams -

Bought a heat gun and scraped a bunch of undercoating off and am testing a orange color that matches pretty close to the original. -

Drivers wheel well pretty much finished as far as welding goes. Have to dress up a few places. Will call this a success up to this point. Hard working in cramped quarters -
Looking for a really good chromed insert for my dash on my wagon. Mine has a couple dings and the chrome is peeling off. Figured I would see if anyone has a really nice one because shortly will be painting the dash and want to be able to get it back in asap thanks Matt

May not look pretty yet, but rebuilding the inner sheet metal under the rear wheel wells is tricky. Has to be done. Will cut the upper piece tomorrow, tack together and finish welding it in. -

Finished with bodywork on rear passenger door. The skin was creased pretty good at the bottom and deformed the metal above. Finally got it all beat out and skim coated. Etching primer applied.
