  1. Very solid and not really any rust to speak of under the rocker skin. Coated everything before welding new piece in. Will fabricate and replace the rear skin behind the doglegs later. The only reason it rusted was because of a exhorbant amount of ziebart undercoating was applied and it held water in there.
  2. A friend of mine has a 31 Nash and is missing some interior door handles. These do not come up in any searches I do online. Maybe someone can chime in…… thanks Matt

  4. I have the roof all straightened out and primed with filler primer. Most of the rear end of the vehicle also. The dogleg on the passenger side is finished and started working on the drivers side tonight. Should be able to finish metalwork there tomorrow. Next is the rocker panels on both sides. The rear gate bottom has a little finessing yet to take care of, but is close. Maybe another week or so and ready for paint. maybe more pictures tomorrow
  5. For sale. This came with the wagon I purchased. Will get pictures of the rear seat. $650 obo
  6. Bought quite a few things at Hershey for the wagon. Almost a complete set of inner fenders (splash guards), a decent drivers front fender (dented but no rust), a dogleg repair panel (for the side I already repaired), a solid but dented pair of rear bumper ends, new door sills, a set of rocker panel repair sheet metal for both sides, the drivers vent deflector that mounts under the master cylinder and vent deflectors for the dash. A big thanks goes out to Brian Depauli, Jim Pickard and Joe Tonietto. Joe actually found the bumper ends and then carted them to his truck. He and Larry Schramm waited for me at a restaurant to pick them up after hours. AND, an even BIGGER thanks to Jim Pickard for selling me the much needed luggage rack! Cannot wait to get it!
  7. RIP Bill! God Speed. Bill and I got to be pretty good acquaintances. Will miss seeing/talking with him. Condolences to his family. Matt
  8. Had the 47’ out to a show next to where I work today. Went with my brother who drove his 1940 LaSalle. Won Best of Show. Had a great day with my brother. Thanks to St. Michaels for having another great show again this year, despite the rain.
  9. Yesterday, started repairing the little bit of rust in the doglegs. Not afraid of cutting and welding on this car like I was on the convertible. Probably 60% done with the bodywork. Still on my projected schedule for paint I think.
  10. SOLID as a rock! Mostly just rust in dog legs. And on rear doors at front. Found a few more dents/dings after having it blasted. Walk in the park compared to my convertible build or the S10 I am finishing up on
  11. Today, rinsed about 150# of media out of the car and got everything blown off. This is after they had already rinsed it down and blew it out at their place. At the rate they charge, I figured I could also do it at home instead of paying them. Sprayed the cowl and door jams with etching primer and the body with a clean metal paint because I couldn’t find enough etching primer at the stores. Everyone is out of stock. Happy with the progress for today.
  12. Is a media made from crushed recycled glass. Air/water and the media mixed together. Looked about the consistency of pool filter sand. They have full range of pressure and mix adjustments. Can use just air/water for rinsing and air only for drying it off
