    Last week or so, been masking off the car and parts to start painting the darker blue in the trunk area, seating area and trim. pretty happy with results so far….

    Working on installing the drivers side trim. Love the snap in moulding clips. Position and snap!

    Went and got my old girl out of storage so i can stretch her legs and enjoy some driving instead of constantly working on the wagon. Drives like a dream

    Progress is progress……. 45 sealing nuts white cord rope seal roof rails installed

    When installing the trim, especially on the roof, I wrapped each fastener with cord seal and used a 10-24 nut with a rubber seal to prevent water from entering the car.

    There are 64 moulding retainers just on the 9 roof strips. I’ve got 200 10-24 sealing nuts on order.

    Trying to make room…..Installed all of the roof clips tonight. Still have to massage the trim so it lays flat on roof. Then seal all of the moulding clips where they go through the roof, then nut them

    And still more stainless……. think I am going to start painting the dark blue soon so I can rest from reworking/polishing stainless

    Polished one set of side trim tonight

    Moulding clips soaking in vinegar. Sorted all of my side trim out and removed clips to polish the trim. Quite a bit came off in first hour. Will see how they look tomorrow

    Had a great day. Got to see a whole bunch of cars today. Some of my favorites are listed below. Thanks Joe and Jim for the great hospitality. These guys are top notch BCA members.

    Drove 8.5 hrs after work last night to Troy Michigan to meet up with Jim Pickard and Joe Tonietto. Buying a/c parts from Jim that he has been saving for me. Joe is making his 58’ wagon available for me to take pictures of assembly of the front end and engine compartment. Looking forward to a Buickfull day with these guys! Cannot wait to see their cars. Wagon heaven
