  1. Here is a post in another forum that I thought might interest folks here: http://forums.aaca.org/f119/marmon-parts-348701.html Justin
  2. Very nice! I wish mine looked that good. I'm guessing the photos got reduced in size when you uploaded them. Would you mind please emailing them to me at jkerns25@gmail.com? I'd appreciate it! Thanks, Justin
  3. Hi Bob, First of all I'd love to see some photos of your car! My family has an unrestored 32 CI 6 sedan and I know from experience that finding another taillight will be very, very tough. One of ours had a broken stand with half missing and after many years of looking we were able to find a new stand that someone had made. Finding a correct taillight lens will also be a challenge! I'm sorry I don't have any of those specific extra parts but would still love to see the car! There is another gentlemen out in your part of the country who recently restored one. I'll send you a PM with his contact info. He may have some parts or leads for you. Justin
  4. Bob, I think it would help if you gave us your location and also what model of car it is. 6 or 8 cylinder? Series? Thanks, Justin
  5. Hello Fritz, I'm sorry I can't help you with those parts but I would love to see photos of the car! What body style is it? Justin
  6. I need to replace a broken latch on a Potter trunk from a 1932 Auburn. I've been told Packard may have used the same trunks so am checking with you folks on the Packard forum. Please see the photos for details: The trunk on the car Close up of the good latch: Close up of the broken latch: Any help is greatly appreciated! Please email me at jkerns25@gmail.com with any leads. Justin
  7. I need to replace a broken latch on a Potter trunk from a 1932 Auburn. I'm sure the trunk is common to other makes but don't know specifically which ones. Please see the photos for details: The trunk on the car Close up of the good latch: Close up of the broken latch: Any help is greatly appreciated! 10. Would any of those parts interchange with 32 Chrysler CI? I don't know enough about the car yet to be able to answer. Thanks, Justin
  11. Actually all 1931, all 1932 (8-100 & 12-160) and most 1933 (8-101, 8-105 & 12-161) speedsters did have machine tooled dash panels. In those 3 years only the 1933 12-165 speedsters had a different dash that was not engine turned. Justin
  12. If it's for your Tucker I strongly recommend you come over to the ACD Forum to discuss. You can find it here: ACD Club Forums Justin
  13. Hello Nancy, First of all that is a beautiful car! I strongly recommend you post this question up at the ACD Club Forum in the L-29 forum. You will likely hear back from more L-29 experts there. Here is a link: ACD Club Forums Justin
  14. Hi Tom, I strongly suggest you place a wanted ad in the L-29 forum over at the ACD Club forums here: AUBURN CORD DUESENBERG CLUB :: Index There are many L-29 folks around and they should be able to help you find what you need. Justin
  15. Perhaps you are thinking of Rocky Mountain Relics? Rocky Mountain Relics Justin
  16. Mike, What you have is not technically original, meaning it wasn't sold during the time of the car's production. If so it would say Auburn Automobile Co. and not have a price. The manual you have was sold by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. sometime after the demise of Auburn, likely in the 40's or 50's. It is still a good manual as the content is the same as the original ones. As for value I would say somewhere in the $30-$50 range depending on what kind of buyer you find. Others may have more experience with the value and can chime in to correct me. At any given moment there are usually a handful on ebay at various prices. Justin
  17. If you are going to get Fred Roe's "Duesenberg: The Pursuit of Perfection" be aware that the second printing (red cover) has the appendix with ownership data. The first printing (black cover) does not. Both are excellent Duesenberg reference books. Justin
  18. What exactly does it say at the bottom of the cover? Auburn Automobile Co. or Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co.? Does it have a price on the cover? Justin
  19. In a timely coincidence there is a 28k mileage largely original example coming up at the Raleigh Classic. Here is a link: Raleigh Classic Justin
  20. Hello, FYI I posted your ad on the ACD Club forum and that may also be where some interest is coming from. In the future I encourage you to post such items there as well for maximum exposure! You can find the forum here: AUBURN CORD DUESENBERG CLUB :: Index Justin
  21. I am not an expert on this but there are many at the ACD Club website. I will point you to this thread though that specifically addresses concerns related to Coker Radials: AUBURN CORD DUESENBERG CLUB :: View topic - WARNING - Coker Radial Tires Justin
  22. No problem! Just want to keep it clear. If you do stumble upon another 12 cylinder sedan please let me know! Thanks, Justin
  23. Hi West, Thank you for the reference, however that was an 8 cylinder car not a 12. I hope he can find some more of it and perhaps it can be salvaged - although the project would not be for the faint of heart! I'm sure worse have been resurrected though.... Justin
