Are you still looking for a inside door handles for the brass incerts that holds the escutcheons in place. I need two gas guage bezels cast perhaps we could work out a trade.

try spaying hydogen peroxide solution into the treaded area and let it set for a couple of hours then try unscewing it. If that doesn't work try it again and let it set a little longer. I have used this to get nuts and bolts to beak free.

WTB Stewart-Warner Fuel Guage with bezel for 1929 REO Flying Cloud. I understand the fuel guage was used on Buicks, and Chryslers as well for the same years; 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930.

You may want to try a cabinet shop sometimes they have cabinets that have been rejected for one reason or another. Or try a secondhand store that specializes in building products. Habitats for Humanities has stores around where they sell stuff removed houses they are rebuilding or donated stuff they can not use.

The only thing I could suggest is looking on ebay, do a web search to see if anything comes up. You could also join the REO Club of America membership is $18.00 per year and look through the news letter that comes out every other month.

The serial number on the front left side of frame rail should be the serial number of the truck. If you have a title to your truck the number should be the same.

RustyREO Your REO Speedwagon as they are called is quite a find and if you want to see pictures of REO trucks you can go to the REO Club of America website and look at pictures of REO Speedwagons. The REO Club of America is also a great source of information and parts or know where to get the parts. I have a 1929 REO Flying Cloud that I have had for thirty years and I'm just now getting around to the point of getting back to restoring it. I was a member of the REO Club thirty years ago and I have recently renewed my membership. I'm very pleased as to what I see now. Most of the old members have died off I'm sorry to say, but the members are very helpful and knowedgeable.
