  1. Pancake. Bunny. You know the drill.
  2. Ahem! All my center caps are Fancy Spring, that is except the one that replaced one that fell off the car... thats Repro made by that Barney guy.
  3. ! If I dont get many requests for color-specific bits I may put them on ebay for better exposure. The center caps are probably going to go to auction unless I get serious offers, I know they are getting rare. One is a Barney-crafted repro, the other 3 are all the best designed cap with the star-shaped spring. At this writing the car is about 99% complete & original, noting the exception that it has a Rivera-burlwood dash bezel and not the stock bezel. I will list the sold parts in this thread as they sell so check the lists before you make your requests. Thanks! SOLD: Original Dash Bezel (not IPC) $25 - (Nice Burlwood Riviera bezel still available w/ like new cubbyhole/hinged compartment) SOLD: Frt & Rear Bumper cover Trim Pieces $25 ea. SOLD**: (4) 16" Aluminum Wheels $200 **partial purchase & trade SOLD: Power Antenna w/ Mast (traded) SOLD: ® Fog Lamp w/ housing $5.00 SOLD: Climate Ctn Unit $35.00 SOLD: Shifter Indicator $15.00 SOLD: Front Air Dam $15.00 PLEASE NOTE! - Concerning requests to HOLD parts you wish to self-pull. I will only reserve those parts for up to 14 days -- others may also be interested and ready. IF you REALLY REALLY need a large part but cant pick it up for a couple of months then I will allow a 25% deposit to hold the parts for you. If you are in a situation where there are smaller bolt-on & larger parts you need I would advise placing priority on the small parts and remit payment for them separately while they last. I would think that the doors, panel, glass, etc will be the last things to go if they sell at all.
  4. I have decided (due to slow sales) to hang on to it until probably next year... Paypal OK I can send pix, pull most bolt on stuff, or if I cant do it & you are local, make an appointment and self-pull. I'm not in the parts business, I'm in the get-it-outta-my-driveway business -- on comparable condition parts I will shoot for beating online auctions price by 30% or more, for starters. That should offer my fellow forum members some good deals and I can make a little money too, to buy a security camera system - ha ha. Post or PM your requests.
  5. I have a feeling some Used 91 ctn caps will show up on ebay soon.
  6. Don't you people know unless you live in  S. California or the desert  that your cars are doomed and all is vanity?? I have it on good authority all others will be reduced to rusty piles of junk in just a decade or two (if lucky) That is unless you keep the Reattas inside and rarely take them out. (end sarcasm)
  7. So you just connect the float charger and leave it on? That could be the ticket for me as we dont take the Reatta out that much (in winter)
  8. To check the battery drain properly you need to start with a fully charged battery. I dont, so thats step one... Ok, so if the voltage drops more than 50ma then it could be a short? I have a Fluke here somewheres. Its raining again so probably wont tackle this today.
  9. Admittedly, he is a transmission man - ex Mr. Goodwrench certified auto mechanic very good in his element.
  10. No doubt, it rained all day and last night too. So if the car has any leaks as you described I would think the carpet would be wet now if I checked. An hour to remove the seat? Never taken one out...Sounds like fun you said there are about 5 splices in the area so I assume the other 15 or so wires in that bundle just pass through there. lol. Too bad only one of the cars can live inside. I should sell the silver one to someone with a pole barn or some storage bldg. Thanks for the detailed post.
  11. Just a "the DVDs are still available" fall 2013 bump! Members have enjoyed these as nice Xmas gifts (to themselves), just saying.
  12. Ah, the joys of Reatta ownership! Seems like all my threads these days have to do with this "mystery" or that. Do all these car have "electrical demons"? My mechanic is afraid to go into the wiring on a Reatta. Well, Halloween is approaching...Wet carpet Gremlins are about, and who knows what else... If the car isn't started every week or so, it has to be charged and it is a brand new battery (not cheap either) Haven't noticed anything "on" like the other car so where is the juice going to? Not all that serious, just a pain in the goola and it cant be very good for my battery getting all discharged - I think I will charge up and then disconnect a cable - more pain!
  13. Water from where, Barney? The car has been mostly sitting in the driveway for months except for ocassionally firing up and driving around the block (well a block out here is several miles... I removed the one bulb (dome) and the car starts fine. Now its my 89 Reatta that seems to have a power drain of some sort, I have to put a battery charger on if it sits idle for a couple of weeks or less.
  14. Didnt take that into consideration. Of course I just happened to look outside and catch the light on to know it was doing this in the first place - I disconnected the battery at that point but didnt notice anything but the dome lamp.
  15. My 1991 coupe may be haunted. The dome light has a bad habit of going on / off whenever it pleases, and it runs down the battery. Of course I can remove the lamp but jus' checking to see if this is something that somebody else on the forum has experienced. Might put car on the market and I dont want to surprise a new owner.
  16. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and we are glad you have found the Reatta DVDs useful and entertaining. Barney, I believe that note you sent with the tape said 2003. If you dont have copies of the DVDs let me know. However, I did make a mistake on the webpage (2004) and will rectify that.
  17. Ya'll have fun. It would put too many miles on my car.
  18. There has been discussion about this in other threads - Its possible some mobliephones were factory installed, they say. How to tell??? (documentation?) You cant get them activated because they are the old analog transmission format, not digital so either yank it or leave it in for "looks".

    Newbie here

Agree with wws944 the 88 is not a parts car - Dont think its worth $3K either though. My 89 (babied and obtained from 1st owner) was much less. It has an intermittent ABS light which doesn't bother me. I can pump the brakes if I need to. That car should be priced around $2K-1.5K. I wish him luck. Just keep looking you will find something at a nice price.
  20. Let me know if you come across a Riv/Reatta battery tray
  21. Yeah the Request Form seems to be largely ignored. lol. thanks I will give them a call.
  22. Is there a thread on how to restore the tail light - I would like to bookmark that.
