viv w
1936 Ford only has 3 hood side trims, this has 4. My guess its a 1938/9 Chev hood Viv.

Firebird89
Awesome guys! Was 1937 the only year that the General Motors Truck emblems were used on the split hoods? We found another split hood in the barn haha same year? -Jamie B. aka Da Yooper Chick Edited April 4, 2017 by Firebird89 Add more pictures of 2nd hood (see edit history)
pont35cpe
Your other hood looks to be `39 thru early `47 with the short side panels. If you`ll do a search(google/yahoo) a bunch of pictures will come up of different models of GMC trucks, with different types of hoods..
